According to Variety, The Grudge reboot has finaly found its director in the form of Nicolas Pesce, who made his feature film directorial début last year with The Eyes of My Mother. Pesce will also rewrite the script for Sam Raimi’s Ghost House Pictu

Neill Blomkamp’s Oats Studios has just released  another bite-sized experimental short in the form of God: Serengeti. The film is the shortest in Volume One so far, running a little less than 4 minutes in length and reunites Blomkamp with frequent collaborator Sharlto Copley (Disrict 9, Elysium).

A new “Godzilla” animated feature film: “Godzilla: Monster Planet” has been previewed in the Work in Progress section of the Annecy animation festival in June. It is the first Godzilla animated film in the monster’s 60-year history, and will be released as a trilogy in Japan starting November 17 before arriving world-wide on Netflix.
